The date for the Legion pre-patch is confirmed!
This patch will change one of our most beloved (or hated) pet strategies of all time: the Howl Bomb.
It’s not the only change though, and some of them will severely impact my collected strategies. I will use the weeks to go through all strategies and adjust them if possible - or replace them. Some pages like the Tanaan Jungle will see drastical changes with Howl Bomb going away.
I apologize for any confusion caused by some of your usual strategies changing or vanishing!
Below is a list of the incoming pet changes that affect Xu-Fu.
- 雷霆箭, 雪崩, Grave Destruction, Carpnado, 秘法風暴, and Psionic Storm will do 15% less damage
- 雷霆箭 has one more turn of cooldown (up to 5)
- 青蛙之吻 and 催眠瓦斯 will now have a 1 round cooldown
- 嚎叫 will only affect the next damaging spell within 2 rounds, instead of all damage.

Now a question, do you plan to update the celestial tournament guides? I know this would be difficult and exhaustive but as so many strategies include Howl and/or the Pandaren Water Spirit, many of them are now obsolete. I can't defeat Zao with any of the strategies listed and I tried all of them. :(

The short answer is: Yes :-)
I'm already in the process of updating all pages here. Most of them are done and adjusted, that includes the Celestial Tournament, apart from Zao and Xu-Fu. I'll do that as soon as possible and I agree, for Zao it means coming up with some new ideas! He's a tough one.

I can see you've copied a typo from the official patch note (Zeradar's ability). ^^
Changes affect also similar spells not mentioned that time, like Screeching Gears' or Avalanche's cooldowns.
I may sound bitter but it's hard not to feel so in some cases.
