Originally added in patch 5.3,
The Longest Day is an achievement, albeit long, which is simple in definition: defeat all available tamers (except Jeremy Feasel of
the Darkmoon Faire, and the first tamers vary depending on whether you complete the achievement with a Horde or Alliance character)
in a single day. The reward is a
Marked Flawless Battle-Stone.
The first tamers are easy to defeat and we have not referenced them (anyway, you’ve probably already beaten them during your progression), but to help you, this strategy for Lydia Accoste contains a script valid for all tamers up to level 20 (the first tamer in Outland). Afterwards, especially if you want to take advantage of this opportunity to give a low-level pet some experience, you’ll need specific strategies. Those for Pandaria tamers and beasts are in their respective categories (

Beasts of Fable). The others are grouped here.
You may also want to do some of these tamers for other reasons: while they don’t provide as much experience for your low-level pets as Pandaria tamers or Jeremy Feasel, defeating them can be a nice boost, and they also provide significant experience for a character who isn’t level 90 yet (especially tamers with level 25 pets, i.e. Northrend and Cataclysm tamers). And finally, the following tamers reward a
Sack of Pet Supplies, like a Pandaria tamer, for defeating them, every day:
To move from one point to another, the portals of Cataclysm in your capital city will be very useful to you, as well as the following items:
Blessed Medallion of Karabor,
