Strategy proposed by Rendigar on WarcraftPets Forum (and Classic-compatible alternative to this version with Iron Starlette). Script added.
Tested under MoP Classic. This strategy is also excellent for: • Gorespine • Greyhoof • Nitun • Ti'un the Wanderer Or even, if you have nothing better, for: • Kafi • Ka'wi the Gorger Several alternative pets and breeds are possible (including using non-level 25 pets or choosing a first pet that does Sunlight: same effect on Health as Illuminate, but less damage initially), but this strategy only works well with pets that have sufficient Health (the more the better if you want them to be usable on other Beasts of Fable as well, and notably Ti'un the Wanderer). Here a list of MoP Classic pets that have Explode, and their Health (if multiple breeds, the breed with the most Health is listed), ranked from highest Health: • Blackfuse Bombling (HH: 1806 — available in phase 5) • Netherspace Abyssal (HH: 1725) • Minfernal (HH: 1725) • Pet Bombling (1628) • Darkmoon Zeppelin (1546) • Mechanical Pandaren Dragonling (1400) |

This is the infamous Howl-Bomb strategy. Howl and the Pandaren Water Spirit's Whirlpool have been changed in Retail to break the combo. But in MoP Classic the pets and abilities work as they originally did in 5.4 so it can be used again.
This strategy is also very effective on almost any fight against a single boss pet, such as the other Beasts of Fable fights. All of them except No-No that is. Don't rely on Howl-Bomb for that particular fight because it has multiple avoidance abilities which will block key turns. |
