Using a snail that has minimum speed (H/H or H/P) is recommended to avoid a few loss conditions if things don't go perfectly. Shimmershell Snail can be both H/H and H/P, and Scooter the Snail is always H/H breed. Occasionally you can run into issues in the end if Missile has multiple misses or if the final Missile crits and kills Darnak the Tunneler. Just reset and start again if that happens. It is not a loss if Darnak the Tunneler kills himself with Stone Rush on the turn you are trying to Explode. You don't want to use Thunderbolt ever on this fight or you won't do enough damage. Swap in Breath instead. It doesn't work all the time, though, if you miss.

It works, but one miss by the MPD and it gets dicey.

Getting Bombing Run on the Dragonling and using it on cooldown when Darnak's out helps a lot with consistency on this fight.
Been using these same pets since MoP Classic launch and I'm surprised that ability isn't used in this strat. (edited)
